The 508 km long Ahmedabad-Mumbai High Speed Bullet Train Corridor is rapidly taking shape. The only mountain tunnel on this route is built in Umargam. This single tunnel is 350 meters long, made up of the New Austrian tunneling method. This technique creates an internal layer of shotcrit, steel, mesh garder, wire mesh. Excavations are carried out after the rock bolt was mounted to stabilize the soil.
